MIKAELA and KAITLYN show off their experiment where they tested the effects of food coloring on slug feeding preference. Today was the last day of Slugfest 2006 and now the students are busy writing up their results.In other news...EMILY K, whom I had last year, donated a baby snapping turtle to our class. Now we need to come up with a name for it. Lets throw out some ideas in the comment section and we will have an online vote for the name.
Also...For those of you that would like to get a head start, we will be having a test this Tuesday on the scientific method and measurement. We will spend Monday reviewing but you can start looking through your notes if you would like. I don't think anyone will have a problem with this test.

Sure...we can keep him for awhile. I cleaned out the slug tank this weekend (nasty) so we can put him in there.
Hey Mr. Devoe.....i think we should take a poll on the turtle's name! That way majority wins! that is a fair way 2 decide on the name!

Cool Blog - When you compose a message, you highlight the text you want to become blue (the link) and a box comes up after you hit the little button that looks like a "chain". Then you paste the actual URL (www.whatever.com) into the box.

Ok, when you're typing a message there should be a small button above the text box (up by the font button, insert pic button, etc.). When you put your mouse over it, it'll say "insert link". Click on that button after you have highlighted what you want to be the blue link. I can show you monday if you cant figure it out.
