Sunday I snowshoed up behind the school to get a good look of the woods without any leaves. It's pretty cool back there. I also saw a spot where a rabbit must have been taken out by a fox or some other mammalian carnivore. Looking forward to spending more time in the outdoor classroom this spring.

wow, I didn't even know we had an outdoor classroom. Will you use it in your scheduled classes this spring? Maybe my students could go up and do some writing. How far away is it? Would I get lost? Should I leave a trail of crumbs to get us back? Ms. B.
I loved going there! Maybe we'll see some squirrel! :)
Ms. B,
I used it for my classes last year too. It's a good time. It is down near the high school science classes.
Great Alen,
We'll be spending several classes up there...especially when we get into ecology and environmental science.
But when are we going to go up there? (I'm excited)
This spring when its warm.
Well, while you guys have a bunch of snow, we have nice, and warm weather here in North Calorina. Miss everyone in New York, but I still like it here.
Marina! Nice to hear from you. I'm glad you like it down there. We all miss you too. Have you checked out Ms. Bassette's blog yet? She's posting your classmates' poetry and writing. Take care.
Our little meeting place looks alot different when it's the winter.... In the Spring I think we should take a hike in there just for fun. And look at all the little organisms LOL!
Jenna,
We'll spend plenty of time up there. We'll do a cool little scavanger hunt as well.
Wow Mr.Devo this is the first time I actually got a response in the same day!
Funny Jenna!
Cool! A scavenger hunt?!?! Where is Spring already?! :(
Poor little bunny .
