This is the flower of a pitcher plant, a rare and extrordinary flower found only in certain places around New York. I post this to symbolize the rare and extrordinary students in this (former) 7th grade class. I truly had a blast with each and every one of you...even the difficult ones. I hope you all shine next year and beyond. You make me proud.-Mr. DeVoe.

DeVoe~ I went to the Relay for life on Friday, to support my sister, and some other people in my family!...
...My Uncle died of cancer about 2 years ago, my sister had cancer when she was 1 year old, and 1 more person that I'm not sure I want you to know about.............Yet, that is.
P.S. It was fun, and I saw a few people from Groton there. Including Mrs. Filzen.

That's great Jenna. The relay for life is such a great thing. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle and glad to hear your sister made out alright. I raised some money for Mrs. Filzen's team but will give more next year.
That's a great idea. I've never been to the Groton Old Home Days but that sounds ike a cool summer project!
