Since the weather was so warm today we toured the nature trail in search of decomposers and discussed why leaves change color in the fall. Above are pictures from first and second period. Cornell University senior, AUGUSTA M. has been working with us and accompanied us on the hike.

I saw you out there, making science fun for another day. Sure, and we were in English having a spelling and vocab test and doing reading comps.

But, I must admit, during 9th I was admiring the tree out back that is slowly turning beautiful shades of color, almost like different 'veins' do the changing...know what I mean? Check out the tree. Only one side has changed. Is that something to do with it?

Hmm...I'm not sure. I'll be sure to check out the tree. The trees around here seem to be lacking in color right now.
