Here is a photo of a spring peeper (Pseudacris crucifer) that has been singing loudly in local ponds and wetlands including the one I mentioned on Elm St. That pond should also be alive with lots of salamander and water insect activity soon too! Unfortunately, I was told that some people want to fill in that pond to build a housing development. Does anyone see a problem with this?

I think they should, because the mosquitos live in there, and there a TONS everywhere. But, I think they shouldn't also because the frogs need a home.
