Bridgette and Leah learned that DNA stands for deosyriboNucleic Acid.We also learned that Genes make and operate our body. Finally we learned that chromosomes are efficient storge units for DNA.

a always pairs up with t
c always pairs up with g
you get 23 genes from your mom and 23 genes from your dad
dna is like a blueprint but for people

girls only have x chromosomes.
genes make up the chromosomes.
dna wraps around proteis.

Alyssa and I learned about DNA, Genes and chromosomes. We learned that the DNA streches s long as a car when stretched out. Also that u get 23 chromosomes from each parent. The give you your from each parent. Ex. eye color, and hair.

there are about 3 meters of DNA in our bodies and you get 23 chromosomes from each of your parents and DNA stands for deoxyribonuclie acid!

Me and Paige learned that the in the DNA are different kinds of chrorsomes and they help with the genes.

1) in the DNA a is always paired up with t and g is always paired up with c. 2)we get 23 chromosomes from mom and 23 from dad. 3)the genes are basically the instruction manual. Yay!!

michael roman and star rounds learned that genes are the basic manuel of life.{and colton pollack}

Of our 25,000 genes only contain the instrutions for making hemoglobin proteins.

if you take a strand of dna and strech it out it will be up to 3 meters long. in dna a always goes with t and g always goes with c.

I learned that dna has letters that go with other letters. I also learned that genes decide which job that cells does. And I learned that if stretch out a thing of dna it can reach 3 meters.

Luke L. & Chris B. said...

We learned that there are different letters in DNA. We also learned these letters are A,C,T,&G. Lastly we learned A always pairs with T, and G always pairs with C.

we learned that DNA meashures out to be 3 feet long and there 4 letters in DNA a t g and c

we learnerd the each human cell contains 46 chromosomes. we also learned that they are split up into two groups of 23. and we learned that DNA stands for Deoxyribonucliecacid.

Heredity is like if you have your fathers eyes or your mothers hair. My fathers eyes and mothers hair are both considered traits that I inherited.(Katie B.)

My DNA comes from both my mom and dad. I am half made up from my mom and half made up from my dad. I have my daddys handwriting and my mommys kind heart. My handwriting and my kind heart and traits that i have inherited from my family. (Zoe K.)

an unraveled DNA is as long as a car or 3 meters
GENE are the instruction manuel for the body
DNA is the BLUE PRINT of life

I learned that DNA stands for DeoxyriboNucleic Acid, I also learned that G=guanine, A=adenine, T=Thymine, and C=cytosine. I also learned that a pairs up with t and c pairts up with g

we did not know that we have things in our body that look like red lifesavers

megan leaned that dna is realyrealy realy nasty

I learned that there is cells in are ears. DNA means deeoxyribo nuclelc acid

Emma and cady learned,
-the DNA alphabet is A,T,C,G. A is always with T and C is always with G.
-The Genes are the direction of the body.
-DNA are all packed up into chromosomes.

ian and DOMINICK said...

dna has its own alphabet wich is actg alsogenes are made of dna and dna strand is made of letters

The DNA ladder is called double helix.

A always pairs with t and c always pairs with g.

You get 23 genes from you mom and 23 genes from your dad.

Justyn and vince learned that the wall is called the sugar phosphate backbone. We also found out that gatc stands for guanine, adenie, thynine, and cytosine
and a mosquito has 6 chomosones
