How cool is that, a student run CSA! I'm so glad to see that you are still at Groton taking on such incredible, innovative projects!
I'm writing to let you know about an event that a group of LACS students is putting on Saturday, Jan. 11th. There will be speakers (Sandra Steingraber, Svante Myrick, Nate Shinagawa, etc), a screening of the film Dear Governor Cuomo and breakout sessions on working with local government, sustainability and fossil fuel divestment campaigns.
Our goal is to draw students from all over CNY and the Southern Tier. The planners are 6th - 10th graders and the target audience for this free event is youth 18 and under.

We'll try to get some handbills via BOCES mail that you might be able to hand out next week.
Please share this with your students and pass it on to your science teacher contacts, etc.
