Today we witnessed that the acidic vinegar completely dissolved our eggshells, exposing the membrane. This is the same process by which acid rain ruins limestone statues and buildings. ALEN Q. and PETER F. add distilled water to their eggs for another 24 hrs.

????......ok....thats interesting. so Mr. Devoe....wat is the point if this whole egg lab anyway...i mean most of the labs has to do w/ somhing that we r learnimg about. like the cheek lab....we werer leaning bout cells at the time...this one was just out of the blue.

Well we've been talking about diffusion and osmosis. Thats what we saw in our eggs: the diffusion of water through the membrane.
