This is an essay BRENNA H. did for girl scouts and I wanted to share it because it is very well-written and displays passion. Just click on the image to see it better. Hope everyone did well on their scientific method tests and I look forward to grading the slug labs.

I agree. Whenever I ride my bike or drive by an open field that's for sale, I wish I could steal the sign....just so the birds would have one more spring to nest. However, that would be wrong and I could probably be arrested or fined...just for thinking of the birds.

omg hey mr. devoe. i so totally miss u! u rock. highschool hard lol. i think i lost sum brain cells over summer...where was i? oh ya, mr. wiech (cant spell) has told me stuff about wat u been doin with ur 7th graders. how come u never did that with us??? meany lol, jk. well, ttyl. LUV YA!

oha nd one more thing, ADD SUM COLOR!!!! ur blog thingy is so uncolorful. make it purdy! add like, a rainbow or red or blue. sum other color then black and white. boring. it needs pizaz (so dont kno how to spell). later!

Brenna did an incredible job with her essay. I sure hope I get her one day so I can read stuff like this weekly. Of course, I'm pretty lucky because this year's 8th graders are doing some good work too. Thanks for putting me in nature; I'm more of an observer rather than a walker-through!! msb
